Puddles of Fun Cross Stitch Chart

This is Puddles of Fun. It's from the cover of Jack and Jill magazine on April 1, 1966. The original artist being Jack Weaver.

The chart is simplified, so should be fairly easy for you to stitch with patches of color. It is 171 x 246 stitches and contains only 60 colors. The background was removed, but it was just blue. If you would like to look exactly like original, you can either stitch it solid blue or you can stitch it on blue fabric. It will look amazing either way. If you want to go rouge you can stitch this on a different fabric.

I also think this would look great with names and birth data around it. I can help you with this if you are interested in it.

What's Included

These designs are charted for 18-count fabric using two strands of thread, but can be adapted to any fabric count. Adjustments will affect the finished size and thread requirements. Each chart includes a 30% thread excess estimate. A fabric calculator is provided in the footer of each page; inputting the stitch count will determine the necessary fabric size.

All charts include a black and white chart, color chart, symbol guide, and shopping list. Exceptions apply to designs with fewer than 15 colors, those using only one skein per color, or those explicitly stated as including only one chart type in the listing description.
