Sheep Herder Cross Stitch Pattern

The sheep herder is such a traditional look with is flock spread across the tree lined field watching with his trusty border collie. I love this chart. I designed it to be very long, but very short to fit in odd places in your home, like above a door with a narrow space. It is 645x200 stitches, so quite a substantial piece. It can be done on any size fabric like all my charts, but designed on 18 count. It will measure 36x12 (rounded up) inches if done on that count. There are 75 colors of thread used in this piece.

What's Included

These designs are charted for 18-count fabric using two strands of thread, but can be adapted to any fabric count. Adjustments will affect the finished size and thread requirements. Each chart includes a 30% thread excess estimate. A fabric calculator is provided in the footer of each page; inputting the stitch count will determine the necessary fabric size.

All charts include a black and white chart, color chart, symbol guide, and shopping list. Exceptions apply to designs with fewer than 15 colors, those using only one skein per color, or those explicitly stated as including only one chart type in the listing description.
