Here is another piece from the amazing Stevan Dohanos. His pieces are so stunningly detailed, you are going to love this one. This was the cover of “The Saturday Evening Post” on November 14, 1953.
This chart is 387×400 stitches wide and contains 143 colors. You probably won’t believe that I reduce the number of colors for every chart I create. I clean up what I call orphan stitches, when there are just a few of one color. I also merge some of the colors that are really similar if they are in the background of the piece, keeping only a lot of color in the details.
