I'm typically at a loss of words or say the same words over and over about charts stitched by my clients. I often say and will continue to say that seeing folks finished projects is what keeps you doing this work.
Debbie is a repeat client that I adore. Her stitching skills are out of this world. Here is the results of her gifting her latest finish.
This social media post by Sara Bui tells the story of Luna. Here is what she wrote:
I received the most unexpected gift in the mail from my beautiful friend Debbie C McCartney. When I opened it, my eyes watered the moment I read, “In memory of Luna.”
My beautiful Luna crossed the rainbow bridge a 3 months ago. Every day when I step into my garage, I miss seeing her sweet face. I am overwhelmed with emotions, and I miss her so much. My fur babies mean the world to me. Each one that leaves takes a piece of my heart with them.
Luna was with me for 17 years. She stood by me during some of the hardest times in my life and celebrated some of the very best times with me.
She traveled across the country with me — from Washington State, where she was born, to South Carolina, to California, and back again.
The day I saw her posted on Facebook, I just knew she was meant to be ours. My husband and I drove together to pick her up, and he held her in his arms the entire way home like a baby.
She was my best friend.
In her loving memory, I launched a rescue in her name — Luna’s Legacy Rescue — because it all started with her showing me just how amazing dogs can be.
Thank you Debbie I get to see my babies face everyday again.
